We are looking for technical reinforcement in the role of Network Consultant and maybe this is you! You will work as a network consultant within one of our customer teams. This team is responsible for several customers in which we provide support for the services they purchase from us. As a result, you encounter various challenging environments in a short time. With us you get started with networking in the broadest sense of the word. Do you want to get acquainted with firewalls, routers, switches, wireless, load balancers, and much more? Then you've come to the right place! In addition to us being a Cisco & Palo Alto partner, you may also get to work with other vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Your main duties and responsibilities:
  • You know all the ins and outs of your customers' network and you ensure that this knowledge is documented
  • You solve incidents and analyse problems
  • You prepare and implement changes
  • In addition to managing environments, you also participate in project activities
  • In addition to the direct colleagues in your team, you work within the network competence with more than 30 network consultants. Divided over the Netherlands and Valencia.

Qualifications

  • Would you like to help maintain and expand a reliable IT infrastructure so that our customers have secure access to business applications and data? You have at least a CCNP or equivalent, or you have extensive experience in Routing and Switching and are working towards obtaining your CCNP (or obtaining it through us in the short term). You have in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, switching, routing, wireless and security (Cisco is an advantage) and you have HBO working and thinking level.

Additional information

We work in multidisciplinary customer teams; each team is responsible for a part of our customers in which we provide support for the services they purchase from us. Here you work together with other Network Consultants, but also Linux and Microsoft Consultants. An experienced Team Admin and Support Consultant divide the work.
Each team consists of approximately 15 specialized IT consultants and is responsible for a customer group of up to 30 companies within a specific industry. Think of logistics, healthcare, or government.
