The Marine Engineer/Project manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the day to day productivity of the company. The ideal applicant should possess advanced technical skills (as they will be overseeing complex marine construction projects) and should have extensive experience within the marine industry with specific knowledge of welding practices and knowledge of class requirements ensuring that projects meet technical, regulatory and safety standards. The applicant will be responsible for the management and performance of multiple projects and will need to have the expertise to take a project through conception to completion (including producing estimates, drawings, sourcing parts, overseeing our team of welders and managing client relationships) and finally ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.
